Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Program
I am excited for being awarded with Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Program. I am presently working as the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mahe, India which is a co-educational residential school of Government of India mandated to nurture the rural talents. I am a Post Graduate in Mathematics and in Education and have a Ph.D. in Education. I have deep interest in teaching Mathematics to Grade 6 to 12 students and I am an educational administrator too. I am a recipient of National Award for Teachers from the President of India in 2012 and National Best Principal’s Award by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in 2009. The projects prepared by my students under my guidance won International School award by the British Council for the years 2012-2015. I also have coordinated UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) program along with Leicestershire cluster of the UK.
